Internet
Web Design
The first stage in a succesful solution is a design which fulfils your needs. Usually, given the ever expanding nature of the internet, there will be an existing site achieving something similar (either in appearance or functionality) to what you require for your own site. This can act as a convenient starting point.
It is also possible that you haven't decided on a design. In this case, through consultation and discussion, a likely solution can be provided.
Web Development
Following on from the design comes development. This could be a simple matter of putting together a series of flat XHTML pages or may involve the implementation of a database depending on the complexity and aims of the site. As a guide, I adhere to practices recommended by www.w3.org ensuring your site is current and scalable.
Content Management
A content management system gives you the tools required to update your own website without the need for specialist software and knowledge. I can provide bespoke content management systems, designed to meet your specific requirements.
Alternatively, I can carry out updates as required and will be happy to put together a maintenance package to suit your needs.
Site Maintenance
Once your website is deployed it is important to ensure that it retains a freshness and reflects the current state of your business. It is likely that modifications and improvements will be necessary and I can provide on-going support for your site.
